Patent Quality Chat - Webinar

Topic: eCommerce Modernization (eMod) Update

The USPTO’s Patent Quality Chat webinar series continues in May when we host “eCommerce Modernization (eMod) Update” about efforts to improve the overall electronic patent application process. This update will include information about Patent Center, which is a new tool in development to replace both the Electronic Filing System (EFS-Web) and the Patent Application Information Retrieval system (PAIR).  Moreover, we will share the progress of the eMod Text Pilot Program for filing in text, upcoming text filing features available to all EFS-Web registered users, and how the public can participate in the eMod Project.

Our speakers look forward to discussing the eMod efforts at USPTO and hearing your suggestions to enhance the patent application filing and management systems and processes via patentquality@uspto.gov during the event.

You are encouraged to join the chat to hear about how the USPTO is modernizing our Patents eCommerce systems. As a part of USPTO’s continuous quality improvement efforts, we will be gathering your feedback to help direct our continuing modernization processes.
