Interested in learning about the latest trends and initiatives underway in the Business Methods examination area?  Join us at the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Detroit to view a simulcast from USPTO Headquarters of the 2017 Business Methods Partnership Meeting (BMPM) to be hosted by the director and managers of Technology Center 3600.  This meeting will bring together USPTO internal and external stakeholders from across the nation to share ideas, experiences, insights, and discuss topics specific to the Business Methods area. 

During this meeting, participants will be able to interact with Office personnel both at headquarters as well as the Midwest Regional Office. Key discussion topics will include:

  • Business Method updates
  • Suggestions for overcoming 35 U.S.C. 101
  • Panel discussions
