Girl-Powered Invention and Entrepreneurship Day

Two high school students assembling a robot.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., come to the Madison Auditorium for a fun-filled young innovators’ program meant for girls and led by girls. The program is free, but participants must register before Nov. 30. To register for the event, send the name and age of your child to education@uspto.gov. Participation is limited to the first 100 enrollees.

Girls ages 7-15 who would like to learn about invention and entrepreneurship may apply for the program. These young inventors and entrepreneurs will share their stories and conduct hands-on workshops. Participants will be split into teams by age group: 7-10 years old, 11-13 years old, and 14-15 years old. They will create, design, search, and pitch inventions and mobile apps to a panel of judges.
